Herbal formulations
Herbal formulations are botanical extracts, which preserve the natural balance and synergy of the herbs present, unlike most other standardized professional extracts used in allopathic medicine. The majority of other professional standardized extracts (and conventional pharmaceuticals) are produced through a molecular concentration process, which is an artificial way to boost an herb's activity.
Artificially standardizing an herb to boost its potency damages its natural balance, which limits its natural healing properties and causing the loss of valuable medicinal molecules. More disturbingly, molecular concentration also greatly increases the risk of side effects. Herbal formulations are vastly different from other forms of standardized extracts as they are not molecularly concentrated.
